What is the difference between a valet and a detail?
A valet is a thorough clean, inside and out. A detail goes further: the paint is decontaminated and machine polished to improve the finish, then protected with a coating. If your car is just dirty, a valet is usually right. If the paint looks dull or swirled, a detail is the answer.
Do I need to bring my car to you?
No. We are fully mobile and carry out the detail at your home or workplace, within 20 miles of Wigan.
How long does a detail take?
Anything from a few hours to a full day, depending on the package and the condition of the paint. Each package shows a typical time, and we will confirm it when we quote.
What is the difference between single-stage and two-stage polishing?
Single-stage polishing is one pass with a polish. It lifts gloss and reduces light swirls. Two-stage polishing adds a cutting stage first to take out heavier swirls and marks, then refines the finish. Scratches that have gone through the clear coat cannot be polished out, and we will tell you honestly what to expect.
